The Danone Tax team, based at the Danone headquarters in Paris, is looking for a M&A Tax Manager (M/F)for atemporary position (CDD)startingas soon as possible. As part of the team, you will support Danone’s global transactions pipeline and contribute to key corporate tax matters.You will collaborate closely with teams across M&A, Finance, Legal, Treasury and Operations, as well as external advisors, on high‑impact and strategic projects.
Main roles
1. M&A / Transactional Tax (Core – 80%)You will be a key contributor to the company’s deals pipeline worldwide (all zones), supporting all phases of the transaction lifecycle:a) Transaction Execution
- Participate in and/or lead tax workstreams on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, internal reorganisations, and post‑deal integrations.
- Conduct and review tax due diligence, identifying risks, opportunities, and materiality levels.
- Review and negotiate tax provisions in SPAs, TSAs, SHAs, and financing documentation.
b) Tax Structuring
- Provide structuring advice, including cross‑border implications, step‑ups, financing flows, IP structuring, holding location, and exit planning.
- Draft concise tax structuring memoranda and support steering committee documentation.
- Support tax modelling (cash taxes, step‑up, NOLs, interest limitation, WHT, VAT considerations, Pillar 2 impacts).
c) Post‑Deal Integration & Stakeholder Management
- Contribute to post-deal integration plans and target operational model including transfer pricing, compliance onboarding and VAT flows.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external advisors.
- Support all phases of the transaction lifecycle across the company's deals pipeline worldwide (all zones).
2. Corporate Tax (20%)
- Support preparation of the Group corporate income tax positions.
- Assist with tax audits and interactions with tax authorities.
- Provide regular advice on international tax matters and other operational topics.

About you
The criteria belowremainindicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.
- A Tax Law Master’s degree, LLM, DJCE or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&A and International Tax, demonstrating strong expertise in transactional tax; experience in Corporate is a plus.
- Solid grounding in corporate & international tax, tax treaties, EU directives.
- Exposure to transfer pricing and experience with Pillar Two.
Soft Skills
- Analytical and curious, with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working on complex and cross-border tax matters.
- Written & oral communication skills
- Familiar with IT tools (excel, BI, power automate…)
- English fluent (Spanish language is a plus)
- Organised and reliable, able to manage several topics simultaneously.
- Autonomous, proactive and comfortable taking ownership with good judgment
